Many years ago female customer purchased Rotel based stereo system with JPW speakers. She was given all informations how to connect speaker cables( plus, minus, not to mix them,.....), CD players outputs( red -righ, left -white........).How to select input, volume knob,......... play on CD,.....
Few days later she phone and said that system does not play music at all. On phone we went through the whole connections and everything it seems was ok. It should work. But it did not.
Then I asked, did you turn on power amplifier. She said not-because I did not tell her to switch power on. She tried it and still no led light. After a few moments I said- did you actually plug in mains cable of the amplifier in the mains wall socket. She said no-because I did not instruct her to do it.
After connecting it also on mains- system start playing music. Moral: You must give all information, even the most logical ones!
